/ Different Places - Plastic Operator

Perfect Pop for the perfect day! “Different Places” is the new album from Plastic Operator. Last year I introduced you all to Plastic Operator and their rather good EP “Folder” having stumbled across them in Myspace world. Well now it’s time for you to go and find this album. With influences listed as Daft Punk, Jean-Michel Jarre and the Pet Shop Boys you can hear these in the rich production and warm lyrics. The single Folder was picked up and used by Coca Cola in an advert as well as appearing in a number of films. Catchy tracks like “Home 0207” and “Peppermint” will have the choruses running around in your head for days and you will find yourself singing along. Plastic Operator are not a band to take life too seriously especially when they wrote “Parasols” a song about taking out parasols and plastic chairs? This is fresh music that leaves you feeling happy and without a care in the world and in this day and age that is not a bad thing. Check out the bands Myspace site for details on how to buy the album and to hear some of the tracks www.myspace.com/plasticoperator also check out the UK Live Dates in London and Bournmouth.
